About the Event
Sparked by the passage of Arizona’s House Bill (HB) 2281, which eliminates Ethnic Studies courses at secondary level educational institutions, the San Diego Ethnic Studies Consortium (SDESC) invites you to attend a film screening and discussion about the documentary Precious Knowledge. We seek to unite faculty, students, staff, and community members throughout San Diego County in order to reflect upon the recent attacks on the Raza Studies Department in the Tucson Unified School District and its impact upon our disciplines at large.
